*Customer's claiming the warranty must call the toll-free number (1-800-472-5555). If only the surge unit is damaged, the customer needs to send the unit to Panamax and pay for shipping and handling of the new unit ($9.99). Customers claiming damages on equipment connected to the unit due to surges must call the toll-free number and be sent a claims kit. The claims kit allows the customer to list the makes, models and serial numbers of damaged equipment, as well as provide Panamax with wiring diagram sheets. After sending the defective unit and the claims kit back to Panamax, Panamax compares it to the terms and conditions of the warranty and provide the customer with monetary resolution for the repairs or market value of the product for up to $100,000 US.
