Problem

You can't always control your TV and receiver using your remote control. Key commands function some of the time, but results are inconsistent.

Possible Causes and Solutions

• If the remote control does not light up fully, your batteries may be running low or dead. Replace the batteries in your remote, press the appropriate device button and try again.
• There may be something obstructing the signal from your remote to your electronic devices. Check to see if something is blocking the path between the front of your TV or receiver and infra-red sensor of your remote control. Remove any obstructions and try again.
