Sometimes, you just need to get the dust out. When it comes to your Shaw Direct receiver, we call it refreshing your receiver.

It's always a good idea to do a refresh when using a receiver that has been sitting for a while, like at the cabin over the winter. You may need to do it after a power outage or if you've added new channels or you can't see your Pay Per View order. A receiver refresh simply restores all of your services and records.

It's simple and easy to do through the Self Serve section of our website. Log-in to Self Serve, click receiver refresh to see the submit button. Click it, and we'll send a signal from the satellite to your receiver to initiate the re-set. It's fast. It's easy.
