Scheduled Maintenance

November 29th – Shaw Direct satellite customers may experience an interruption of service between 3:00 am EST and 6:00 am EST. This interruption is planned to last approximately three (3) hours.

If your Shaw Direct satellite receiver is tuned to the following channels during the interruption, you will see a “Signal Lost” popup message on-screen, with blank or frozen video. You will need to take action to restore your signal, please see below to learn more.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHAW DIRECT BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

Do NOT use your Shaw Direct TV remote to restore services. Please visit the following page for specific instructions on how to restore your services: https://business.shaw.ca/support/headend-maintenance

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHAW DIRECT RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS:

To restore service after the maintenance window, use your Shaw Direct remote to first tune to channel 265, then to channel 741 and wait at least five minutes. If you’re still experiencing signal issues, reboot your receiver by pressing HELP-OPTIONS-POWER on your remote or by unplugging the power source for 30 seconds.

PVR recordings set for the below channels during the maintenance window will be disrupted. If your Reminders or Recordings were affected by the maintenance, many of your favourite shows are available on Shaw Direct On Demand or on-the-go with the Shaw TV app.

If services are not restored after changing the channel and rebooting your receiver, please contact us to troubleshoot.
