Overview

There are a variety of ways you can pay your Shaw Direct bill. One of the easiest ways is to set up pre-authorized payments. Please see the following information for a breakdown of the accepted payment methods:

How do I set up Pre-Authorized Payments?

Login to My Shaw Direct if you want to have your monthly charges withdrawn from a bank account, or if you want to set up pre-authorized payments on your credit card.

  2. Visit our page on Pre-authorized payments for detailed instructions.

  2. One of our agents will assist you in setting up your auto-payment.
  3. They will send you a secure link via email or SMS.
  4. Click the link and input your credit card/bank information.
  5. Click Add This Card.

As we value our customers’ privacy, we changed the way we collect payment information for enhanced security. This change allows you to enter your own credit card information into a secured form that is sent via SMS or email. This link expires after 15 minutes for added security and privacy.

Note: We will only send you a link upon your request and while we are in the conversation with you. Do not click any links that say it was from Shaw Direct and was sent to you at a different point in time.

    Credit card payments

    You can make a one-time credit card payment by logging in to My Shaw Direct.

    1. Once signed in, click My Bills on the left.
    2. In the Account Overview section, click Make a payment.

    Shaw Direct accepts the following credit cards:

    • Visa
    • Visa Debit
    • Mastercard
    • American express (gift cards excluded)
      • Most pre-paid credit cards (online only pre-paid credit cards are not accepted)

        Note: We do not current accept American Credit Cards or Visa Debit as our systems cannot do the exchange. If a payment by American Funds is required, we do accept American cheques.

        Pay Without Signing In

        Pay Without Signing In is a new feature being added to ShawDirect.ca. This allows you to make payments to your account without the requirement of signing into My Shaw.

        1. Visit www.shawdirect.ca/easypay
        2. Enter the following required information into the appropriate fields:
          • Account number
            • This is your 11-digit Shaw Direct Account number.
            • Payment Amount
            • Name on Card
            • Card Number
            • Expiry date (MM/YY)
            • Security Code
              • This is the 3-digit number found on the back of the card.
            • Email (for receipt)*
              • This is used to receive a one-time receipt for this payment.
              • It will not be used to send unsolicited emails.
            • Review whether the information displayed is accurate and click Submit payment.
            • You will receive a confirmation screen that the payment went through successfully and also an email copy of the receipt.
            Pay Without Signing In

              Through our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system

              Payments made through our IVR system will be posted to your account within one business day.

              1. Call us at 1-888-554-7827
              2. Follows the prompts to make a payment.
              3. Choose 1 for Shaw Direct account, then choose 2 for Account Inquiries.

              Pay through your bank

              Payments can be made to us through online banking, telephone banking, or in person at your branch. Bank payments can take up to five business days to be posted on your account.

              For online or telephone banking, the payee should be listed as "Shaw Direct" or "Shaw Direct Communications Inc.".

              Pay through Western Union quick collect

              Payments made through western union will take approximately 1-2 business day to process and will cost $15.00 per transaction.

              Once you've made your payment, contact us with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) to report your payment on the account.

              Paying by cheque or money order

              You can also pay your Shaw Direct bill by cheque or money order. Please mail your cheque or money order to:

              Please note it takes around 10 business days to process this method of payment.

              Pay by contacting Shaw Direct

              You can also pay for your Shaw Direct bill by contacting us directly. Follow these steps:

              1. Contact us by chat or phone.
              2. After verifying your account, our agent will send you a secure link via email or SMS.
              3. Click the link.
              4. Put the amount you want to pay.
              5. Input your credit card information.
              6. Click Pay Now.
